Hello brewers. Important info about this month’s meeting this Wednesday. Due to a clash at the Wheaty, this Wednesday night we are moving down the road to Brightstar Brewing, Stirling Street, Thebarton.
It looks like it will be a nice evening to sit overlooking the Torrens on the verandah, tasting its European-inspired range of beers. This is an excellent reintroduction to the iconic styles leading up to our Summer Comp in March — Czech vs. German styles.

ABCSA Wrap Up
SABC members dominated the recent state competition, some with 🥇gold. Congratulations to all the brewers who placed in the recent ABCSA state competition.

The best brewer of show runner-up was Darren Williams.
All the best for the nationals being judged in Sydney next weekend, October 24 and 25.
Christmas Case Swap
The Christmas Case Swap is on again. Put your name down on this spreadsheet if you want to participate. Date/Venue to be confirmed.
What is the case swap? Think of it as a beer advent calendar, homebrew style! You bring along 12 bottles of your own beer and swap them for 12 different beers brewed by other club members. You end up with the same amount of beer you brought, but a dozen new brews to try over the Christmas break. You can even put together a mixed dozen from two or more batches. It’s a great way to discover what other members are brewing, try different styles and share your own efforts with the club. If you’re hesitant about giving away 12 bottles, remember you’re not losing beer — you’re exchanging it for 12 new beers to enjoy!
