Get set for one of the most eagerly awaited meetings of the year on 21st February from 7pm at the West Thebby Social Club.
The meeting will feature a yeast master-class from Tomaso and Federico from Atomic Yeast. A word from Federico about the meeting:
“Brewing yeast: the science behind the art of beer”. Not a divine intervention gave man beer: chemistry and biology orchestrate the production of this delicious beverage. Yeast, a little single cell organism, plays a fundamental role and therefore it has been domesticated for its ability to produce different flavour and aroma. Since the discovery of yeast in the late 1860’s by Louis Pasteur we have been studying it, but, in 2018 we are still far from unveil all its mysteries. Here a short summary of what we learned along the way”

Meeting tastings will be kept to a maximum of 2, due to the presentation, please email the Club if you intend to bring a beer along. Only brewers that have confirmed their tastings will be accepted.
