DESCRIPTION:Crafty Robot Brewery – Wednesday 18 March\nWhat really makes the difference between a good beer and a great one? \nFor this month’s South Australian Brewing Club meeting\, we’ll be joined by two brewers many of us already know well as members of our club — Nate Warnock and Michael Rowley — who began as home brewers and are now brewing professionally in Adelaide. \nHaving made the transition from home brewing to craft breweries\, Nat and Michael bring a unique perspective on the brewing process and which parts truly matter most when it comes to improving the quality of our beer. \nWe’ll walk through the brewing process step-by-step—from preparation and cleaning through mash\, sparging\, boiling\, cooling\, fermentation and conditioning—giving members the opportunity to ask questions\, compare approaches\, and learn which practices really improve beer quality and which things home brewers may worry about more than necessary. \nIt should be a relaxed night of brewing conversation\, practical insights\, and plenty of opportunity to pick the brains of two brewers who have successfully made the leap from home brewing to professional brewing. \nFrom 7pm. But if you’re newer or haven’t made it along yet\, here’s the short version: it’s our yearly SABC get-together where we fire up the spit for some delicious BBQ\, many bring a keg of homebrew to share\, and enjoy an evening of good company\, food\, and homebrew. \nIt’s not a competition or a judging event. There’s no pressure. Just bring a bottle or two if that’s all you have of something you’ve brewed (if you’ve got some)\, try what others have made\, and have a chat. Everyone’s welcome—whether you’ve been brewing for years or you’ve just started thinking about your first batch. \nIf you’re not sure what to bring\, bring yourself—we’ll have plenty going around.
